英語教育講義①

 I was surprised at the result of an experiment about memorizing English word and vocabulary. In my junior high school and high school time, I had been writing English words in my notebook when I tried to remember it. However, this way may have been wrong. From this, I think you can find I don’t know how to learn English. By taking this class, I want to learn and understand how to learn and teach English  to others.

These all stories are written by Montague Rhodes James who is one of the greatest horror writers of all time. He was born in a small village in Kent, England in 1862. His father was a vicar so James loved old books and studied history, the Bible, languages and the books of past centuries at Cambridge University. Thanks to this, his stories are antiquated and traditional. It is famous that many antiquaries appeared as main character in his book. This book has the most famous story "Lost Hearts" .
